Objectives
- Improving the overall business climate of the country by addressing pressing issues.
- Promoting and safeguarding the economic and trade interests of the business community.
- To act as a central clearinghouse for collecting information relating to current or proposed business policies.
- Articulating matters relating to better business policies and practices to the general public and government agencies.
- To assist in and support voluntary or self-help initiatives or endeavors to improve the business climate and social impact.
- To carry out any other activity that will help improving good governance, reducing corruption and strengthening democratic institutions.

- Forge strong alliances with like organizations to engage the central and local government on strategic business issues including the reduction of corruption and bureaucracy.
- Lobby for a more effective, equitable and fair taxation system that improves government revenues and allows for tax reduction.
- Promotion of exporting more manpower & attracting FDI.
- Work to reduce cost of capital and strengthen economic governance.
- Promote local and foreign investments in Bangladesh through government issued incentives.
