IBFB leaders departed for a business tour to USA
Mr. Hafizur Rahman Khan, President and Mr. Mahmudul Islam Chowdhury, Founding President of IBFB departed for USA for a business tour on Monday, 26 October 2015.

The IBFB leaders will attend an international conference titled “Discover Global Markets – Pacific Rim Consumers” to be held on 28 October 2015 at Los Angeles, USA. They will discuss about Bangladesh market, potentials and privileges of Foreign Direct Investments in Bangladesh for foreign investors, and also discuss about bilateral trade and joint venture opportunities with the high officials of different multinational companies participating in the conference. Later, IBFB leaders will attend a Dinner to be organized in their honor by U.S.-Bangladesh Business Forum at the evening of 30th October. They will also participate in a views exchange meeting with the Richardson Chamber of Commerce later on 2ndNovember 2015. The IBFB leaders will have a meeting with the Principle Deputy Assistant Secretary for Economic Affairs of the State Department on 3rd November and also a meeting with the high officials of the Department of Commerce on 5th November in Washington D.C. In these meetings, the IBFB leaders will discuss about establishing a separate office of the U.S. Dept. of Commerce in Bangladesh, investment opportunities in the United States for Bangladeshi entrepreneurs and strengthening bilateral trade relationship between USA and Bangladesh. In addition, the IBFB leaders will also have meetings with American Chamber of Commerce, International Republican Institute (IRI), Centre for International Private Enterprise (CIPE), Democracy International and different others business associations and international organizations in USA.
