IBFB Business Delegation departs for South Korea
An eight-member business delegation of International Business Forum of Bangladesh (IBFB) headed by Mr. Hafizur Rahman Khan, President of IBFB and Chairman of Runner Group of Companies has departed for South Korea 23 November 2015. The main purpose of this business tour of IBFB is to explore opportunities and potentialities of enhancing bilateral trade and joint venture investment through appropriate private channels between Korea and Bangladesh. In addition, IBFB delegation will also give emphasis on export and import of products produced by different Bangladeshi and Korean companies, transfer of technologies and machineries, and also motivating interested Korean companies to relocate or expand their businesses in Bangladesh.
The delegation will attend a week-long international trade exhibition on Korean Machineries in Siheung city being hosted by the Ministry of Trade, Industry & Energy in association with Korea Association of Machinery Industry, and organized by Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA) starting from 25th November 2015. The IBFB Delegation will also have different business to business meetings with high officials of respective Korean companies in Incheon city of Korea. In these meetings, special importance will be given on enhancing bilateral trade through increasing export-import and joint venture investment especially in the fields of motorcycle manufacturing components, garments/textile manufacturing machinery, food processing machinery, poultry machinery, building and real estate construction machineries, printing machineries, dredging machineries, electronics products, computer accessories, motor parts etc.
The IBFB delegation also includes Mr. Mohammad Ali Deen, Director of IBFB, Chairman of Deen Impex & President of Naogaon Chamber, Mr. Syed Mustafizur Rahman, Managing Director of Novo Cargo Services Ltd., Mr. Syed Enamul Hoque Murad, Managing Director of Sunyan Fashions Ltd. Mr. Al-haj Payer Mohammed, Managing Director of Progressive Hatcheries and Poultry Farm Ltd., Mr. Mayeen Uddin Mahmud Chowdhury, Managing Director of Khan Bahadur Group, Mr. M A Ashraf Khan, Managing Director of SP Trade Corporation and Mr. Amid Sakif Khan, Assistant Manager of Runner Group of Companies.
The IBFB Delegation will return back to Dhaka on 29th November 2015.
