Representative of CIPE from USA visits IBFB Office in Dhaka

In order to explore avenues to work together for private sector development in Bangladesh, a senior official from Centre for International Private Enterprise (CIPE) from USA visited IBFB Office at Tejgaon, Dhaka on 11 February 2016 to have meetings with IBFB leaders. Ms. Jennifer Anderson, Program Officer for South Asia of CIPE had her meeting with Mr. Hafizur Rahman Khan, President and Mr. Mahmudul Islam Chowdhury, Founding President of IBFB, where IBFB Executive Director Mr. Md. Abdus Salam, Consultant Mr. Nirjhor Rahman and other senior officials of IBFB were also present. The CIPE Representative and IBFB leaders discussed about working together in future on different issues and aspects of private sector development such as trans-country trade facilitation, unlocking barriers of improved business environment, ease of doing business, reducing corruption for economic development etc.
